If you felt you could have really used a few more days at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival presented by CHASE® you’re not alone! I’m happy to tell you that this year this Festival is a full 62 days long. Use that time wisely so you don’t miss any of the 30 global marketplaces, especially the new addtions for this year like The Chew Collection in Future World’s Next Eats festival area. The Chew is taping five shows during the festival! But my day was spiced up with a special appearance by Iron Chef Morimoto at the Media Day Event. He even sang for us!
But the afternoon was dedicated to food. My personal favorites? Oh Greece, your Loaded Greek Nachos had me at hello, and The Chew’s Peanut Butter Mouse went beyond a second helping. But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Wine and Dine Studio’s Seared Scallop with Truffled Celery Root Puree, Brussell Sprouts and Wild Mushrooms. There are many tasty additions to the Festival – try 32 new marketplace dishes and at last county 49 new cocktails, beers, wines and ciders. Nice to see St Pete’s Three Daughter’s Brewing back as well.
Whatever your taste for culinary adventure is, it’s here at the Food and Wine Festival. A brand new cookbook, Rockin’ Burger Block Parties, celebrity guest chefs, demos and so much more you may need every day you can squeeze in. Oh, and to work off some of those calories you’ll want to grab a seat at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
