I caught up with Michelle Dudash, author “Clean Eating for Busy Families” once again in Ann Kelly’s Kitchen to get a little advice on my own path to a clean eating lifestyle. It’s the single best thing I’ve done for myself since I pledged to make this year one of my best and healthiest. It’s working! I’ve enjoyed recipes from her book like the Olive Oil Cure Summer Vegetable Sandwiches and have shed around ten pounds with the helpful advice of Charlotte Mapes, RD, LDN, the Wellness Dietitian for BayCare Fitness Center- Carillon. I know that when I stopped thinking “diet” and started thinking that this was what I was going to do for the rest of my life and love is was my “ah-ha!” moment. But where do you start to avoid mistakes? No worries, Michelle has the answers in her book, and in our chat. Take a listen when you have a moment.
Michelle has some solid advice on how to start eating clean for your family. Yes, the whole family. It’s not a lot of work (myth #1) and does not take a lot of time (myth #2). Of course, I love shopping each week for the freshest ingredients, and incorporating those into new recipes. Less processed and more fresh is what’s making a difference in my life, and has helped me to lose almost ten pounds so far. I’d love to share Michelle’s book with you as our featured selection for the Ann Kelly’s Kitchen Collection this month, and you can register to win here. We’ll chose one entry at random Friday, February 3rd. Good luck!
