Heading out to Disneyland soon? The California home of Mickey has ‘fessed up to some of its secret menu items and they look pretty tasty. It was just a matter of taking what they already had and re-imagined their use. Imagineers are good at that in the many kitchens across the park. Take a look at what’s new while I dream of a Mac-n-Cheese bread bowl, along with a little history.

Heads up to those of us who love to bake and treasure the taste of real vanilla. When I stopped in at Savory Spice Friday afternoon to stock jup on my favorite spice my friend and owner Paul Bailey told me about a story he was interview for that’s now out on the price of vanilla beans going the way of what we’ve heard about chocolate – way up. You have to read the story by Alli Knothe to get the rest of the details. Stock up now!
