Hi all! I’ve found some fun, some weird and some downright delicious things for Ann Kelly’s Kitchen…and away we go!


Who doesn’t love a latte? This girl does, but the calories aren’t my favorite. But I’ve found a great way to enjoy on without all the fat and calories but keeping all that spicy flavor. I found Spicy Chai Latte tea bags at Trader Joes, and use two of those in one cup of water and let that steep overnight. You can skip that step if you don’t have the time but I like the intense flavor. I add that to one cup of unsweetened almond milk (30 cals a cup) along with one to two teaspoons of my favorite Gallberry Honey (raw and natural) and pour that over ice. Perfect.


I found a wonderful place in Tarpon Springs that makes one of the best gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that’s kind of half cookie, half muffin but sooooo good. It’s the Eco-Bean Organic Coffee shop and a very impressive place for those love their coffee, lattes, and sweet treats but that keeps the healthy side front and center. Check it out soon, you’ll love it as much as I did.


From Chik-fil-A two new menu items. There’s the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich with grilled chicken, bacon glazed in a brown sugar pepper blend, with Colby-Jack cheese, topped with zesty Smokehouse BBQ Sauce and served on a Hawaiian style bun. And to go with that Watermelon Mint Lemonade, with real mint and fresh fruit. It’s also available in a diet version.

Brace yourself – a spaghetti donut? Yes, it’s straight outta Brooklyn and was sold for $5 a pop at the Smorgasburg Food Festival. Think using a donut mold and making the equivalent of a spaghetti pie, only this time a donut shape. Bet you could make these at home yourself – here’s a look at the original.


You’re so lying if you say you don’t eat all those marshmallow first out of the box of Lucky Charms. Magically delicious but a sugarfest for sure. How do you get your hands on one that is JUST marshmallows? You do have to buy a box, and then enter a 14 digit code found on the inside back panel of specially marked boxes of cereal at to find out if you’re one of the lucky winners.
