Survey says there are those among us who think chocolate milk comes from brown cows. Seriously. Okay, it’s not a huge percentage but there are 7% that think that’s the real deal. The report came out in the February issue of Food and Wine and it gets even better. Some people aren’t sure where chocolate milk comes from at all. Okay…
I know where mine comes from, and it’s one of my very not-so-guilty pleasures. The Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk is my go-to when that chocolate craving hits. But all good things in moderation. I do pay attention to the sugar content and that’s why measuring is important if you’re also tracking your foods. If you’re tracking your dairy consumption especially carefully the almond milk is a nice switch.
