Pepperidge Farms Goldfish Crackers are under recall The problem is the whey powder used that may have been contaminated with salmonella. There are four types of crackers under recall and  you can see which ones those are here. No illnesses have been reported but it’s best to get rid of them or return them to the store for a refund.

Some Ritz cracker products recalled for potential salmonella presence Anther snack favorite, Ritz Crackers, has also made the recall list. It’s also because of the whey powder used to make the crackers and possible salmonella contamination. Ritz Cracker Sandwiches and Ritz Bits products are some of the crackers on the list and you can also check the full list here.

McDonald’s pulls salads from some restaurants after more than 100 people infected by parasiteMcDonalds was also forced to recall salads after an reported an outbreak of cyclosporiasis illnesses.Ten states were affected and for a full list and what precautions to take take a look at the full story.

Possible salmonella contamination also is responsible for ground turkey being pulled off shelves in what the CDC is calling a “widespread turkey industry” outbreak. Florida is on that list and nationwide some 90 people were sickened by the turkey product. The problem here is the CDC doesn’t know exactly where the affected meat came from. It’s best not to to use it at all. But if you are make sure you’re using a separate cutting board for any raw turkey products,. And please don’t give it to your pets, they can get just as sick as we do.
